You always know what comes next and who is coming. Each stage is on your job page.
1Follow the safety steps, protect people, and photograph everything before it moves.
2One certified company, which you agree to by name, stabilizes the home. Every visit is on your schedule.
3We explain when to notify your carrier, what to document and what the adjuster visit covers.
4Visits, dates and photos stay in one place, so the claim timeline is easy to follow.
5Repairs by your mitigation company, or another certified contractor if you choose one.
6Rate the work. Only homeowners with a real job can leave a review.
Ask for the drying log
A restoration company records moisture readings at marked points every day until the materials reach the dry standard. Ask to see them: they are the record of what was wet, and for how long.

Your insurance claim
The claim goes smoother when the record starts before anything is moved. We explain the process; we never say what your policy covers.
What “Certified Operations” means
Every certified company is verified against the same standard and renews every year. A lapsed license or insurance policy ends the certification automatically.

Checked against the Secretary of State record.
Verified with the state licensing board, where the state requires one for the work.
Certificate on file and current.
Certificate on file, or a signed exemption where state law allows.
For water, fire or mold work, checked in the IICRC firm locator.
The company declares the estimating platform it uses.
Signed, with a public complaint process.
Declared ZIP codes and trades; a general contractor claim needs license evidence.
Search by name, ZIP code, or the certificate ID on their truck or paperwork. The status is read live from our records.
We verify credentials and collect reviews from real jobs. We do not guarantee any company's workmanship. Read the full certification standard
Home services
What each job involves and what to expect, in plain words. 308 services across 23 trades.
Nothing. The service is free for homeowners. Certified companies pay a fee when they accept a job request. The price of the restoration work is set by the company you hire, and your contract is with that company.
It is a network of certified restoration companies. We give you the first safety steps, connect you with one certified company for your ZIP code, and keep the schedule, the claim timeline and the rebuild in one place. It is an independent service. It is not an insurer, a public adjuster or a law firm, and it is not affiliated with any insurance carrier.
We check whether a certified company serves that ZIP code. If one does, you give your details and confirm your mobile number with a 6-digit code. We then show you one company by name. Your details are shared with that company only after you agree to that company by name. The company then accepts the request, and we text you its name, phone number and a link to your job page.
A certified company has passed eight checks: legal entity in good standing, state contractor license where required, general liability insurance, workers' compensation, IICRC Certified Firm status for water, fire or mold work, carrier-format estimates, a signed code of conduct, and declared service areas and trades. Certification is renewed every year and ends automatically the day a required license or insurance document lapses. We verify credentials and collect reviews from real jobs. We do not guarantee any company's workmanship.
No. We explain how the claim process works: when to notify your carrier, what to document and what the adjuster visit covers. We do not say what a policy covers, estimate a payout or advise on disputing a carrier decision. For those questions, read your policy and ask your carrier or a licensed professional.
Only a homeowner with a real job through this service can leave a verified review, and only one review per job. A review has 1 to 5 stars, text and an optional "would hire again". It is published after a 48-hour hold used only for abuse screening. A review is never removed because the rating is low, and nothing is offered in return for a review. The company may post one public reply.
Every certified company has a certificate ID, two letters and four digits. Scan the QR code on the badge, or search the certificate ID on the Look up a company page. The verify page is read live from our records and shows the current status, so a suspended, expired or revoked certification shows as such.
