Appliance installation

New appliances set in place, connected, leveled and tested.

What this covers

Appliance installation covers refrigerators, ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers and range hoods. The installer measures the opening and the path into the house before delivery, protects floors and door frames, disconnects and removes the old unit, and connects the new one to water, drain, power, gas or venting as it needs. Each appliance is leveled, secured where required, and run through a test cycle. Careful installers replace worn supply lines and dryer ducts rather than reusing them, and check for leaks before leaving.

Questions people ask

Does a gas appliance need a licensed installer?

Gas connections are usually reserved for licensed trades under the local code. The company uses a licensed installer for that part of the work.

Why replace the hoses and ducts?

Old supply lines, drain hoses and dryer ducts can crack or clog with age. Replacing them during installation is simpler than dealing with a leak or a blocked vent later.

What about a new circuit or water line?

If the appliance needs a dedicated circuit, a new outlet or a new water line, that work goes to an electrician or plumber first, and installation follows.
