What this covers

It can be glued down with real grout between tiles or clicked together with a printed grout line. It is waterproof, quieter and warmer than ceramic, and easier to replace one piece of. Like plank, it needs a flat, clean subfloor.

Questions people ask

Grouted or groutless?

Grouted tile looks most like ceramic and seals the joints. Groutless click tile installs faster and floats. Both are waterproof at the tile.

How does it compare to porcelain?

Porcelain is harder and more scratch-resistant. Vinyl is warmer, quieter, more forgiving of dropped dishes and easier to repair.

Can it go in a shower?

No. Vinyl tile is for floors outside the wet area. Showers need ceramic, porcelain or stone over a waterproofing system.
