What this covers
Quartz countertops are made from ground natural quartz bound with resin and pigment, pressed into slabs. The result is non-porous, consistent from slab to slab, and available in plain colors and in patterns that imitate marble. Fabrication and installation follow the same template, cut, edge and set process as natural stone. It does not need sealing and resists stains, but it is sensitive to high heat.

Does it stain?
Rarely, because it is non-porous. Spills wipe up; harsh chemicals should be avoided.
