What this covers
Most countertop damage can be repaired in place. Chips and cracks in granite, quartz and quartzite are filled with color-matched resin and polished flush. Open or stained seams are cleaned and re-bonded. Solid surface and wood are sanded and refinished. Laminate edges are re-glued. The repair is matched to the surface and finish so it is hard to find afterward.

Questions people ask
Will a filled chip show?
A color-matched fill on speckled stone is nearly invisible. On plain, light quartz it may show faintly up close.
Can a cracked counter be saved?
A hairline crack over sound support can be filled and stabilized. A crack with movement or a sagging cabinet underneath needs the cause fixed first.
Can a seam be re-done?
Yes. The old adhesive is removed, the seam cleaned, re-bonded and color-matched.
