What this covers
Most fence failures start at the post: rot at the ground, concrete that heaved, or a snap in a storm. The repair company finds why the fence failed before fixing it, then resets or replaces posts, replaces split or missing boards and rails, re-hangs sagging gates, re-stretches chain-link mesh, straightens or replaces bent metal panels, and replaces fasteners that have rusted through. New wood is matched in species and profile and left to weather, or the whole run is stained so the patch blends. After a storm or fallen tree, the company sorts what can be reset from what must be rebuilt and documents the damage as it is found.
When to call
- A fence that leans, with posts that move when pushed.
- Boards that are split, missing or soft with rot near the ground.
- A gate that drags, sags or will not latch.
- Panels blown out or a run flattened by wind or a fallen tree.
- Chain-link mesh that sags or has pulled away from the posts.
What to expect
- AssessThe company walks the fence, finds the cause of each failure and notes what can be saved.
- Posts firstFailed posts are reset or replaced in new concrete and left to cure.
- Replace and re-hangBoards, rails, panels, mesh and hardware are replaced and gates re-hung.
- BlendNew material is matched to the old and, if wanted, the run is stained so the repair disappears.

Questions people ask
Repair or replace the fence?
If a few posts and boards have failed, repair makes sense. If most posts are rotten at the ground or the fence has been patched repeatedly, replacing the run is usually the better use of the money.
Can a leaning post be straightened?
Sometimes, if the post is sound and the concrete has simply shifted; the company digs, plumbs and re-sets it. A post rotted at the base is replaced.
Will the new boards match?
New wood is lighter than weathered wood for a season or two. Staining the whole run after repair evens the color, or the new boards are left to gray naturally.
